The best food and the friendliest staff! Driving up from Lisboa was totally worth it and I know I’ll return because it was simply an amazing experience. I love that it’s also run by women (mom/daughter) and another sweet lady.

This is a real gem of a place just off the GR50 hike. Huge portions served by people who clearly love what they are doing. Lots of locals, including the park rangers eat here which is a great sign. Very good value too.

A special location in the area with its own quirks and conviviality difficult to find elsewhere or replicate. They clearly love what they do, and they do it well. We hope to come back in the future and have some more of Ivone’s romantic apple tarts. Thank you for hosting us.

Very good food and friendly service. I had posta, which was a generous piece that can easily feed 2, and a bit of cabrito, which was also quite good. Humble and authentic vibes

What a good surprise after hiking on a rainy day! very good food, fresh beer and good athmosphere. Thanks to the kids for the challenge of portuguese grammar. We need to re-new (re beeing the prefixe!) the visit.
